Let It Snow

On the one day when we got a little bit of snow, we put on our winter gear and headed outside to gather what we could in a shovel.

Samuel was done after about 20 minutes. Jackson, however, stayed out there 45 minutes...long past when Sam and I came in.

And when he did come in, we shared a cup of hot chocolate. Or rather, he ate the marshmallows and I drank the chocolate.

Perfect snow day.

Cradle Song

News Alert!
At the age of 5 weeks, Samuel slept through the night! On Tuesday, he went to sleep...by himself with the mobile on...at 10:30 and slept until 4:15. Then went back to sleep until 7:30! Last night, he went to sleep...by himself with the mobile on...at 11:00 and slept until...wait for it...6:30! And then went back to sleep until 9:18! Wow! I kept waking up wondering if he was ok...so my sleep wasn't as great as it should have been. But I'll take it! And I hope this isn't a fluke! Let's go for a good one tonight, too, little man! The amazing part is that Jackson slept until 9:18, too. I heard Samuel crying and Jackson singing at the same time. Are they sharing a brain?

We are just taking it easy today. It started snowing this morning and hasn't stopped yet. No school again, so Myles is here. The boys played cars this morning and had cinnamon rolls.

Samuel just chillin' on the Snow Day.

In other Samuel news, he got his first bath on Monday night. He LOVED it! He just laid there...and when I went to move him up, he would scootch himself back down and pootch out his belly and cheeks. He is a little Bath Buddha!

He is in the baby acne stage. Jackson had baby acne around 5 weeks, too, but it only lasted a couple of weeks. Can't wait till it goes away...I feel so bad for his red cheeks!

But he is still a cutie!

Snow (Hey Oh)

It's snowing! School is closed! And Myles, Jackson and I headed outside to enjoy the white powdery stuff! This was Jackson's first time in the snow, and he loved it. He is such a nature lover. When he woke up in the morning, he looked out the window and said "Wooooow....snow!". So I headed to Target to pick up a cheap pair of snow bibs. The only pair they had in Jackson's size was in purple, but I figured he wouldn't mind. At least not until he was old enough to know I had put him in purple...

We had a snowball fight and made snow angels. We thoroughly enjoyed our Winter Wonderland!
