Today, Sarah Gutierrez (Morning Glory Photography) came to our house to take Samuel's 1 year pictures, Jackson's 3 year pictures, and a couple of family shots.

Samuel was a ham. However, you would have thought the camera was a big man eating monster the way Jackson would run from it (he's hated getting his picture taken his whole life). So I was absolutely amazed when Sarah sent me these gorgeous pictures. She will be our photographer for the rest of our lives!

Let It Snow

On the one day when we got a little bit of snow, we put on our winter gear and headed outside to gather what we could in a shovel.

Samuel was done after about 20 minutes. Jackson, however, stayed out there 45 minutes...long past when Sam and I came in.

And when he did come in, we shared a cup of hot chocolate. Or rather, he ate the marshmallows and I drank the chocolate.

Perfect snow day.
